Erika Velazquez Alpern

Erika Velazquez Alpern (she/her) is a marketing and media leader, Brooklyn parent, and former artist.

She is the founder and CEO of Tactile, a marketing studio for creative brands (clients past/present include The Boston Globe, Eddie AI, Argent, Dripkit, Cyndie Spiegel, Modernist Financial, Hearst, and of course Fully Funded!). She is also the CoFounder and Chief Business Officer of The Purse, a newsletter-first media company covering all things money, career, and kids. She's worked in-house leading marketing for media brands like The New Republic, The Guardian, and Morning Brew, while also advising the startups and founders she believes in. In her work, she is committed to uplifting diverse voices and making marketing more accessible for independent media organizations and early-stage founders.
